I have to say that I'm pretty boring on the pattern front, I mostly have spots, stripes or leopard. Textures though, lots of angora, boucle, different kinds of leather... Good enough to bring in the summer too if you ask me!
Love the idea of a feminine silk camo top. Yours is beautiful, but that tee you link to is really calling out my name. That one's gonna nag at me for while. And your PS1 is killing me. It's just one of those bags that's always and forever going to be amazing.
That's a very nice outfit, I like the camel-khaki combination. I am, like jamie-lee, a bit more conventional on that front too. I have stripes, and one summer top in a sort of ikat-like print and that's it....
I'm often drawn to prints especially if they're also textured but I tire of them quickly so I don't indulge. However, I have been stalking a pair of windowpane check trousers at Zara, and am wondering if I should go for them, although I am pretty sure they're not "staple" material.
windowpane check seems like a pretty versatile print - i feel like i've seen a pic of Jenna Lyons wearing some silk trousers in that pattern and looking quite chic.
I wear prints daily (stripes, florals, abstract prints, etc), so much so that sticking to monotone or one color is pretty daring for me. Love your satchel!
The weather has been incredible in New York hasn't it;)
And that satchel! It just keeps getting better. The vast majority of my clothing are solid neutrals with subtle pops of colors that flatter my skin tone (salmon, fuchsia and bordeaux). I do printed scarfs but a print has to be utterly captivating. Prints for me are stripes or small dots.
But texture, I live for texture. Luxe, silks, cashmere, vicuna, boucle Chanel jackets, garbardine, suede, leather. I love playing with textures.

ReplyDeletere angora - i like the texture but i can't figure out how to keep it from shedding everywhere!
DeleteLooking good! Thanks for tagging me on Insta :)
ReplyDeleteLove that bag! I usually wear patterned scarves but most of my clothing is solids - neutrals and a dash of fuchsia.
ReplyDeletelove fuschia! still looking for a good one for my skin tone...
