Hi, I'm looking to the AI crossbody and wondered if you were able to attach the two outer pouches together to great a two-pocket clutch? I know is a function that the Celine trio has. Thanks!
Am loving my new pair of aviators, a few linen and cotton dresses and blouses from White Champa and my stash of cotton scarves this summer. And of course, my Trinas!
Ray-Ban aviators with pale gold rims, made in Italy. I still adore my Tom Ford sunglasses but I was using them so much that I realised I needed a second pair of sunglasses.
To be honest, I actually prefer the pebbled look of your trio crossbody to the smooth finish of the Celine (but then again I'm a fan of wardrobes that don't look too pristine)!
This summer my staple accessories are a slightly offbeat pair of black $12 sunglasses (I've yet to prove to myself that I can handle a *nice* pair of sunglasses without losing them); my two tiny tan leather purses picked up from traveling; a hot pink Kate Spade wallet/wristlet that also serves as a great going out mini clutch; and my new but oh so trusty Carmex Moisture Plus (which comes in a sleek tube that looks more chic than your normal chapstick).
When the weather will be nicer here, I'll be able to pull out my linen tees and shirt, coral accessories and terracotta items of clothing (I think that's the only bright colour I have, a sort of dark ochre-ish orange), and leather sandals. I too like to use smaller bags in summer, as if a big heavy bag didn't go well with light clothes and warm weather. But in the meantime, I'm all about scarves, rain coats, coffee and keeping the heater on...
I just got a pair of Thierry Lasry sunglasses in a funky tortoise, which I'm hoping to wear all summer. Other than that, I've been wearing my trusty K. Jacques gladiators and whatever keeps me cool in this assaulting humidity. I'm hoping to invest in a denim or chambray shirt dress. Any suggestions?
ooh love your summer picks. i'm all about a funky tort pair of sunglasses too. as for denim/chambray shirtdress, i just happen to be selling a NWOT one by Aussie brand Lover at my blog shop. let me know if you might be interested! :) http://shoplam.blogspot.com/2013/04/lover-denim-chambray-shirt-dress-sm.html
My Karen Walker Perfect Day sunnies, Mulberry Alexa, the Sam Edelman sandals you recommended, a plethora of sunscreens to try from my Sephora Sun Safety kit, and a good cold beer or crisp white wine. Melting in this heat!
It's not an accessory, but it has been so rainy last month that I lived in my Burberry trench. I have a few other trenches from Burberry, but I finally spent the time to have a traditional trench tailored to fit last month. I couldn't be happier:)
My Karen Walker Perfect Day sunglasses, a loose chignon, opi red pedicure, sunscreen and a few broderie anglaise blouses will be staples this summer.

ReplyDeletehi! that's a great feature but not do-able on the AI. still useable as separate standalone single pouch/clutches though.

ReplyDeletelove your picks - and totally in love with KW sunnies.
DeleteI'm in Southern CA and the temperature is all over the place! I live closer to the coast so I'm experiencing sad overcast weathers. :(
ReplyDeleteI love your Celine. Simple and looks functional with the multiple zipper. I've added it to my list of purses to look for. :)
Take Care!
