hope you all had a lovely holidays and new year! my uniform for the first days of 2013 is mostly revolving around the awesome A.P.C. boots and SC bag (similar).
It looks a good combination to me and to be honest my daily outfits are not entirely dissimilar to yours at the mo. Just happily rekindling my love for stripes - Spring must be in the air.
I'm living in black high waist skinnies, a slouchy top, big scarf, IM coat, and either No. 6 clog boots or Rachel Comey ankle boots depending on the weather. Probably pretty boring but comfy.
Gorgeous! Happy new year! I have been living in embroidered Indian tunics and shorts these past few days but after I return to the city tonight I expect my winter uniform will consist of my Carven cocoon coat, my new DVF burgundy bag (can't wait to break in the goatskin leather), merino tights from Fogal, wool dresses from Bi La Li, Development, DVF and gold jewelry. And if temperatures really have dropped to two degrees Celsius (as the papers report) then I might need to whip out my leather gloves and wool hats too!
I've been wearing lots of silk tanks and sweaters recently - I never realized silk could keep you so warm! Other than that, my outfits are usually similar to the picture of above (including the Hope top :-)), with dark jeans instead of lighter ones though!
yeah my IM scarf that's made from some kind of nubby silk is really warm for winter. i wish i bought more of those Hope tees when they were on sale last year...
Love your essentials. I've been wearing my same uniform - black Acne jeans, Acne pistols, and heavy knits. Looking to throw in something fun to spice things up - maybe a leopard scarf?
Winning combination! I've been living in my winter uniform of acne skinnies, black/navy/ bright green cashmere jumpers, IM bator coat and Zara suede ankle boots!
I've been carrying my navy Clare Vivier messenger every day, along with jeans and a cashmere crew neck sweater. I've also been enjoying wearing a Liberty print cotton blouse.
I adore your SC bag. I saw it at the massive LV store on Sloane St and couldn't get over how soft the leather is. I ended up with the Monogram Bandouliere Speedy instead as it's much lighter which is necessary when lugging around heavy camera gear. I still dream of the SC......
I tend to wear my trackpants and wedge sneakers from The Kooples a lot, along with a pair of boyfriend jeans from Zara.
The boots look so good! I had the Caramal suede s/s 2011 version but had to sell them due to the sizing. I had the 38 which was just a bit small, but the 39 was SO long when I tried it on that my foot was slipping around in the shoe. I wonder now if I should have kept the 38 and tried to break them in for a bit longer. Its just bizarre how there is such a big difference between the 2 sizes..

I see you have the church's brogues now too! I just bought mine over Christmas and they are perfect :)

DeleteI've been using my PS11 excessively, since I haven't been carrying lunch to work - it's been nice! That and rotating my collection of t-shirts.
ReplyDeleteI love this outfit! As it's been quite cold here, I would have to say that my warm knits have been worn almost daily for the past weeks.

my SC has def broken in nicely but the leather is still super durable and luxe at the same time.
Deletei wish there were a Kooples here in NYC. sigh!
