september essentials


August was a strange month filled with ups and downs and all i wanted to do when September started was to dive into in the thrill of early autumn. that back-to-school feeling of new beginnings always gets me.

in no particular order, these are the essentials i've been living in/using daily...

1. denim jacket
2. chambray shirt
3. breton shirts
4. vintage Coach bag
5. marant suede boots
6. SC bag
7. dr. jart+ bb cream
8. iphone! (finally)

    I tried the Dr. Jart BB cream and I can't say I liked the consistency. :\ But I'm glad it worked for you!!
    For my essentials... I've been living in my gym clothes!! August and September have been my "Get Fit" months. Not the best sartorial choice but efficient, lol. So jealous of your SC bag! That's on my wishlist for sure!

      aww sorry to hear that! yeah i find that the dr. jart+ has the perfect moisturizing yet still lightweight consistency for my skin. love it!

    I'm in a shirts kind of mood lately, which is rare for me. Other than that I mostly wear the same as I've worn all summer (it hasn't been the best summer, weather-wise) only with warmer outerwear. It is officially parka time again :)

    I got the Madewell chambray shirt and love it! Thanks for the suggestion, it really is that perfect weight and fit. I was a little worried the color would look too bleached but it doesn't at all in real life.

    I've been rolling around in my C/E bf jeans and leopard print loafers lately. There's also a beat-up 10 year old northface fleece jacket I've been throwing on all the time even though its not that cold yet. It is getting darker outside earlier and earlier though. Sigh.

      Love that they slip on and this leopard is very neutral but still adds visual interest.

    For me, my essentials have been breton stripe tops, cosy knit long cardigans and floaty skirts or dresses. 'Also my A Wang kori oxxfords - best shoe purchase lately!
